With a balustrade design requirement to achieve 1.5kN/m loading for the internal and external balustrade, the Onyx® stainless steel balustrade system was a perfect solution whilst retaining an elegant and open feel to this rotunda atrium. The side stair featured spiral handrails to follow the curvature of the stairs allowing for a design that was in harmony to the atrium balustrade.
